Who Are We?

The Suscipe Worship Collective is comprised of musicians and singers from around the Midwest. We come together as a full collective for larger events and make ourselves available (as individuals or groups) as we are able to assist in any other ways that we are called.

The Suscipe Worship Collective is a ministry of Suscipe, a 501(c)(3) charitable organization, whose mission is to "feed the spiritually hungry" through community, formation, and mentorship.

Membership Levels

We currently have three different levels of commitment and membership for those interested in being involved with the Suscipe Worship Collective.

Core Members: typically 6-8 individuals who are the "regulars." These individuals are typically more available and committed to the work of the Collective.
Affiliates: our goal is that this would be another 20+ individuals who are available to assist as needed and will typically "fill in" when the Core Members are not available. Affiliates are committed to the training and formation opportunities made available by Suscipe.
Guests: we LOVE inviting guests to assist to share in their gift of music! Guests have no set commitments.

Attend a Living Room Session

Several times a year we organize "Living Room Sessions" where we invite anyone currently involved with and interested in the Suscipe Worship Collective for a time prayer, formation, and worship! You'll be invited to come and meet others, participate in worship, and we'll get a chance to meet you and hear you play/sing a bit!

More information about these will be sent out to you prior. If you can't make a session in the near future, we'll find others ways to connect with you!

We Talk!

After you've shown interest and we've had a chance to spend a little time together, we'll discuss next steps with you!

There isn't necessarily an "audition" process. We strive to keep the process as human and discerning as possible, always open to the ways that Lord may be calling us deeper.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there an audition to be part of the Collective?

Not really. Many individuals who want to get involved are just getting started and/or have never done anything formal in regards to leading or being part of a group like this. We want to get to know you, share opportunities with you and, overtime, get you more involved! All of us were invested in at one time and we want to do the same for you!

What if I live outside of Sioux Falls?

We have many members who are not from Sioux Falls. While our ministry is primarily based out of Sioux Falls, we've done several events around the region.

Do you need help with aspects other than musicians and singers?
